Look at this bike, you can see that it's built for a very tall person, 6'6'' - 6'8'' in fact, but it also looks bizarre, like it's going to be very unwieldy with a very high centre of gravity, especially with the rider on it, it's all out of proportion, the wheel although the right size for this era of mtb look too small.
The point is why don't they upsize EVERYTHING for taller riders and downsize everything for smaller ones? I mean they do for kids versions, sticking with 90s mtbs for a moment, they used to make proportionately identical 24'' versions for ultra-manlets and kids BITD, so why didn't they make 28'' versions for the giraffe-men? And not just wheel, why not upsize the wole bike? make the bars wider? the top tuve longer etc, normal looking men of all heights are basically ptroportioned the same right? There are stubby limbed midgets and bizarrely built tall streaks of piss, but on the whole the differences between small men and big men is the size of all their parts.
If i was a lanky fucker I'd want to look normal on a bike, and I'd want my bike to look normal, same if I was a child sized adult, I wouldn't want 29'' wheels on a kiddies frame.
