>>1713792Alright Monsieur Anon,as promised i tried the one finger method on a 450m hill with 4-8% gradient.
i tried using only a single index finger It works just fine. The strength required is very minimal since the fluids are doing all the work for you.
Using both brakes i got to a fast standstill while using only both pinkies.
>It might sound weird but I'm also worried the HS33 might be too powerful for my useThese thoughts do emerge when using the all 4 fingers, since the brakes can make you skid quite easily. But as i mentioned the brakebooster should prevend your v brake pegs from deforming. On the other hand, having such strong brakes is reasuring when you need to slow down in an emergency like
a careless child crosses the street when you go down a hill .
At last i forgot to mention that Magura sells the brake levers in left and right side configuration.I was completely unaware of this and bought two left hand
brakes. As such i had to flip on of the levers upside down. The performance is not compromised doing so,it just looks goofy since the handlebar clamps have arrows indicating which side goes up.
I'll continue to lurk /bqg/,so fire away when more questions arise with magura brakes or recumbents
