"Stadtbahn B" cars were way bigger than most trams at the time. A normal single articulated one would have "sitzplätze: 72" and it could run in multiple unit operation. A good old Gt6 would seat 52 people. Twin axle cars had about 20 seats give or take, bogie cars about 30 seats.
Also do remember that at that time buses didn't have more than 20-30 seats either unless they were articulated or doubledeckers.
