Why are we paying farmers to pull up the limited amount of ground water to produce ethanol fuel? it takes oil, lubricants,fuel, fertilizer, and tractor maintenance which takes resources & man power such as rubber for tires.
We should instead be building hundreds of nuclear power plants and going electric, and rebuilding our communities to make public transit as it's becoming way too expensive to own a car such as maintenance, fuel, and insurance.
Right now we have a bunch of suburanites holding the country hostage. If you aren't farming with commercial contracts with the majority of your income being derived from farming activities then you're nothing more than a suburbanite.
