>>1918690It was driving on a sidewalk to move pallets of shit from a loading dock area up a slope to a parking garage upper deck. But the genius operating it didn't have a spotter and didn't setup any traffic cones to close that part of the sidewalk. The route he was taking includes a 10-foot high wall and he poked his forks around the corner of the wall right before I came down the sidewalk without enough time for me to evade or brake so my front wheel got completely smashed and I got launched 8 feet then rolled a few times. I have bruises almost everywhere, including the bridge of my nose, right eye, and temple from smashing my sunglasses but thankfully didn't get a concussion. This happened less than a block from the fire department so triage was immediate. The initial pain was bad enough that I was assuming my shoulder was dislocated, but it improve a lot by the time I got to the ER and the split was removed for the first x-rays.
The last time I had a spill I got a cracked rib and that shit is miserable, so thankfully nothing like that is a problem.
