Hello fre/n/s. I am building a tourer that does double duty as my only bike and I want a nice triple crankset for a ~18" granny mountain bailout and a speedy downhill zoom gear (probably 11x48/50 will do me fine). My frame has a BSA 68mm bottom bracket. The lighter the better for my autism. I'd also like a degree of weather sealing on the bottom bracket.
What bottom bracket and crankset should I get?
Should I be looking for 10speed cranksets or lower for touring robustness? Aliexpress has some good mixed alu/steel cassettes for reasonable money but they're 11speed, would 10speed work with them?
I've found a couple decent looking triple mountain bike cranksets, but they have quite wide axles. Will this fuck up the chainline and cause extra wear?
Is it a good or bad idea to replace the big chainring with an aluminium one for muh gramz?
Are there any decent triple front derailleurs for my setup?
