Elon musk could have just sat on the money like most billionaires but he made SpaceX and now rural Americans(and other countries) have access to high speed internet no matter where they are, NASA is no longer relying on Russia to get our scientists to the ISS and he is about to make our species less vulnerable to extinction. I really hate this mindset because it is so shortsighted and frankly stupid.
