>>1758977>wasting 2500 bucks over a product you were never proud ofme: 1300 bucks for a V10F, the best bang for buck. 25-30 miles on a single charge? who cares. it's built like a tank. 2500 miles later and still rocking.
>>1757169>IPP041N12N3GXK 65eur for 12pcs.that's amusingly overpriced.
afaik Inmotion pays $1.90 a piece (in quantities).
also, the worst thing about the cut-off is not about repairing the wheel. it's about your health. you cannot buy replacement bones and skin and organs.
>>1756906you can still go for a V12HT, featuring "safer MOS" (as per Inmotion ads). I guess they're 120V-rated.
and you can be pretty sure that latest V12 batches feature the new (safer) mosfets.
but it certainly will take some time to get EUC resellers to ship a "v12 «2022 edition»".
what's horribly wrong is Inmotion still beating around the bush. (but maybe they're still trying to understand what batch of mosfets is to blame and what to do to double-check next time; sure, they put 100V-rated mosfets on a 100.8V-nominal system, yet a serious ISO9001 manufacturer selling a 100V-rated part should still feature some extra room, say, 105-110V at minimum - and that's why lots of people doing insane shit with their V12's still had no problems).
either they recall all V12's and offer board replacement free of charge, or they're gonna lose all those customers willing to shell out a lot of money to get a reliable wheel.
>>1757037Oh, no no no.
z10 is literal abandonware.
also features a puny 52v battery.
also features a tubeless design, that is, the tire is harder than a rock.
also, almost features the v12 price tag.
>>1756906Fun fact: you don't need "miles range".
You need:
- safety: you don't want a begode-like cutoff
- power: to escape dangerous situations
- suspension: because not all roads are your dream marble table
- brand: because you don't want to buy something that will be abandonware in 6-12 months (begode did you hear me?)
- bonus point if easy to fix/maintain.
