Here’s my rigid MTB touring conversion in progress. Needs longer seatpost and less hideous/reachy stem. Probably should have not gotten drop bars with so much reach nor am I a fan of wide drops on this frame, however it is a comfy ride and I’m a big fan of mid-90’s MTB geo.
This will hopefully get a rack soon too and get to go out on some dirt excursions, not pictured are new 1.5” slicks since this will mostly be a commuter for the time being and I didn’t want to throw down for schwable touring tires right now. If I like it enough it will go on a longer intl’ tour someday though.
