>>1159151When did you move to Minneapolis? I moved out a few years ago, but I recall there was pretty reliably snow on the ground from mid-November through mid-March, at the *very* least. Often we'd see first snow in October and still be getting blizzards into April; and reliably 4+ months with very few days where the high got over freezing. Winter of 2011-2012 was brutal, and friends back home tell me 2013-2014 was worse.
It's true that the city is a fuckin' machine at getting the roads and trails plowed out, though.
