Now obviously, Salem to Weston or Brookline Village on the Blue Line is an absolute pipe dream, but even a modest buildout of this design, say Government Center to Longwood and West Station or Watertown Center on the western end, plus building that Lynn extension on the eastern end, could have an utterly transformative effect on getting around Back Bay and the Charles region.
The full buildout would be poetic AF though, as now the "blue" line would be the line that tracks and Charles river and crosses it no less than 5 times in total.
