This is probably the best one in the Twin Cities. It is a submerged bike path with almost no at grade intersections that cuts through the center of the city. The path was built on abandoned railroad right of way that was grade separated after the city grew too dense around the rail line.
It used to be rather industrial and bleak but now the area has revitalized/gentrified so there are six story apartment buildings lining either side on one end.
