>>1166244A few years ago I had power loss on takeoff and had to force land on a road. They told me the carburetor "float valve" was stuck open and, paired with a warm day and other normal landing stuff, the spark plugs in 2 or 3 cylinders had fouled. I had about 65% power loss. I ended up landing in between some power poles alongside power lines on one side. The clearances on either side ended up being less than 4 feet. No one was hurt, and there was no damage to the aircraft.
