brifters and triples are bad combinations.
i hate those postal service bikes (many are pretty low end too) and i especially hate how that one looks with those newer wheels.
The Giant IS actually a cool classic. Pic rel was the first compact geometary road bike (where the top tube slopes up). They changed the game. The aero fork and wheels look awesome. It is specced with campagnolo, i think higher end stuff too, as it has metal paddles on the ergo shifters.
That one could be worth test riding and haggling if you like how it looks. It's not a practical choice. Parts and tools will be hard to find. It's probably pretty shot. And the gearing is extremely narrow. But it's cool.
The top one is gonna be beaten to shit but it's relatively modern, it's the best buy for sure. Is it carbon? I would very closely scrutinize the entire frame for cracks on a bike like that.
