Speaking of train comfort, would any of you ever consider going on a cruise train? Added to the usual line-up of The Ghan, Indian Pacific, and the outgoing Overland, we now have the Great Southern (pic related). Unfortunately I don't think this is going to be a real replacement for The Overland in any way, since that train was always the 'odd one out' compared to the other 'cruise' type experiences. But the Great Southern looks to have all the trappings of the cruise train instead.
