Just tried this shit for the first time on a short (15mi) ride.
- all the added comfort you'd expect from a 2mm-thick piece of cheap foam
- tights much hotter than regular shorts but otherwise comfortable enough I guess
- lost about 20W to embarrassment alone

Overall a very minor improvement over normal polyester shorts but the $50 is already gone so I'll probably use them once per laundry cycle (after sneaking out the back door so no one sees me).
