I know people prefer light rail over BRT, but I'd rather Houston put up a bunch of cheaper BRT routes instead a handful of expensive light rail. The metro is big, but most people are stuck with a cage or regular bus aside from a lucky few who live or work near one of the few light rail lines. I feel like we're caught between the oil lobby and trainfags, with neither serving the area's best interests. Hopefully with the completion of the first BRT (pic related), we'll see a change for the better.
