It's not cheap bike considering it's not much more complicated than 90sMTB but other bikes with similar capabilities are often actually pricier. I'm going to have two wheelset - 650b for plus size gravel/xc tires and 700c for road tires and the geometry should suit that. Rack and fender mounts are a must.
I've test ridden few bikes quite thoroughly and I really like that bike.
