Just look at this sectional chart of DFW. You can do whatever you want outside the bravo and no one can tell you jack shit. Every day dozens of training planes flood the outskirts of DFW airspace and do tons of high and low speed maneuvers, steep turns, spins, etc.
This sounds like someone with absolutely zero aviation experience giving their take based on absolutely nothing.
