If you're on a path keep right unless passing. If you're passing someone and there's already plenty of room you can squeak your duck or say 'on your left' or something but really that's just as likely to startle them into your path so best to just blow by them without saying anything. If they get pissed you'll be a hundred yards away already so they won't be able to do shit. If you come up behind people taking up the entire path then ride through the grass and optionally yell at them. If they don't hear your duck and there's no way to get around then yell at them.
