is it better to have the rear light mounted further down on the seatpost/seat tube? i think there will be less water splash since the lower position is further forward and at a sharper angle? whereas the higher position is in the same area as an ass saver so it will get covered in dirt when riding on wet roads in the winter. and maybe it will look awkward if the light is too close to your ass.
