Got this for $100 bucks, seems really nice and it's got a nice ride feel to it. Wondering what steps do I need to go through for semi-restoring an older bike. It has a few rust spots but other than that I can't find too much wrong with it. The friction shifters are a little rough but could just be that im not used to them since I've only used indexing ones before. Only thing that was really wrong was the guy who sold it to me had tires that were too big for the bike so if you actually inflated them they would get stuck in the fork/brakes, and the left side crank arms threads were fucked up, i guess he put the pedal in wrong? a bike shop fixed it for me for 5 bucks though so its ok, the pedals are temporary while I get some nice MKS ones to match it. Idk what bar tape color to get tho.
