First ride of the year, first ride since September since I sprained my ankle running and slowly became more of a recluse/unstable. Feels really good to not be depressed, this bike has been sitting in a trainer for the past four months and it feels good to go outside again. Had to replace sealant which was a bitch since the tires didn't want to seat, and clean up my shifters which had been covered in corrosion. I looked up the sl-6207 manual and only just realized I have had these shifters put together incorrectly for the past 4 years because I am a retard. It shifts so much better now. I took the rack off too because I am so tired of running a basket due to it digging into my fingers when on the drops, I want to find a solution for that so I can carry a banana and another bottle of water.
It was so weird not using the trainer, though. the bars felt so light it was like my headset was loose. i had considered going for a lower RR tire, but really I think Gk's are pretty great. They really don't feel slow at all and are pretty comfy, as well as doing pretty well off road.
