This is my home towns premier park. 15 acre lake with swans, geeese, coots and shags. A walk through aviary with about a 100 birds from around the world. There is a huge greenhouse with exotic plants, a sculpture/ Zen garden, a cozy cafe, well maintained and clean toilets, well planted trees that provide shade and seasonal colour. My town is lame and boring but this park is ace and a stroll around ( always feels safe and non- sketchy) refortifies the soul.
