99% of people seem to have an awkward fit on their road bike like they sit mostly upright on the hoods or even on the tops, and they almost never ride in the drops, meanwhile omnium track racers can ride in the drops for 15 minutes straight no problem
i wanted to try the aero hoods position with a flat back but it looks like it would be very awkward since the bike isn't really designed for a tt-like position
especially with a socially acceptable stem length you would tend to be scrunched up with your elbows pointing backwards and overlapping your knees
since i'm building a bike and ordering parts "blind" i'm not sure if even a 120mm stem will be enough but a 130mm stem seems very taboo
