It's obvious you've never been to either of those 3 cities but I have because I'm a southerner. Nashville and Atlanta are blowing up big time.
Nashville boggles the mind with the amount of new construction and Atlanta obviously has new highrises going up all around Midtown + MARTA to take you around. Those cities have been massively densifying for over a decade. Last time I stayed in Atlanta for work I didn't need to rent a car, I just used the bikeshare to get around downtown then called an uber to the airport.
