I am not necessarily looking for something to go super fast just pretty quick like I said. Pic related is the thing I am stuck with right now so maybe that is coloring my opinion of what constitutes a "quick" bike.
Also could you clarify which parts exactly you mean are going do deteriorate and how? I'm not trying to be adversarial, I am just not sure how a brand new bike from a known brand is going to have parts that will quickly deteriorate?
