NIMBYs in this area (pic related) are pissed off that at some point within the next 50 years, the light rail could be extended to serve our university of applied sciences, a bunch of student dorms and other facilities. None of that stuff is built yet, except for the main university building, and people are afraid that their idyllic countryside neighborhood might be converted into an area where people actually live, work, and study. They try to halt this progress by opposing the light rail extension and criticizing the project's leadership.
