>>1156829 said was activate grit. you basicly thinned out the grease/ gunk on the rollers and nows theres heaps of tiny grit particles making the noise. also your lube looks really wet, possibly not the right type.
Im doing a full strip / paint strip today [pic related] and the only way to clean a chain is to break it and leave soak in jar of kerosene overnight, occasionly shaking. Both you, your work area and and the chain end up a hell of alot alot cleaner and requires far less labour / fucking around.
Get a chain break or purchase a power link. Soak in in kero. Dry. Use a proper bike lube not hardware store shit. Live happily ever after.
