At least one of the owners of these trestles finally decided he could try to get money out of railfans by selling a piece of historic land to them, unlike that guy who supposedly was so sick of people trespassing on his property to see one of the trestles that he just blew the trestle up to spite them :^) Not sure how true the above story is but it seems believable to me.
