Just taken the freewheel part of my flip flop hub off. Mainly because I always thought it looks like shit but it gave me a fairly decent weight saving. Slightly rotational weight too but it's right by the hub so can't be too much of an effect that way.
Still, 170g off is about the difference between standard handlebars and the lightest, most expensive carbon bars
