It's got mounting points for a rack, seen in the picture. Wondering if I can find a way to combine this with a fender.
>700mm barsThey're fine for actually riding in my experience. The one time they become annoying is when taking the bike on the train. But the bike is poorly suited for that in general, it's an XL 29er so comes in at about 2m tall when stood up.
>fat tiresThey're also fine for my commute. Very few sections where you get a chance to go flat out, lot of riding up and down sidewalks, cobbled sections, nasty potholed road surfaces and even dirt/gravel sections on some routes if I decide to take a shortcut.
The thing is, I spent all summer commuting on this bike, and I've commuted on my old 26er for 10 summers before that. I've just never thougt about outfitting it for bad weather riding.
