I think with plastic ones though you probably should try and be careful because plastic can always break. Like I said in this post -

But of course sometimes you do ultimately just have to apply a lot of force to get a shitty tight tyre bead off the rim. I think the two in pic related are probably the best sort of standard plastic ones you're going to get, otherwise you might have to try metal, but pic related should be fine.
