>>1043987To me it's because they are so mundane, yet at the same time there is so much to them that you just don't think about. When I was a kid (6 or 7) and we would go on class trips we would go in these old Australian Denning landseer coaches. They had a Detroit 6v92 with Jacobs and they used to sing. I remember sitting in my seat the whole time goofing off like "this thing is so cool!!"
About 20 years later I got to drive one of those busses on its final trip before getting sold.
Them feels were so strong
Also I am a bus mechanic, so I guess I have to be interested in how they work. I can't speak for general autists
