Hopefully with the introduction of Siemens Venture cars in the next few years they'll offload a couple of trainsets' worth of California cars onto Caltrain because traveling 2-3 hours in Nipshit's gallery cars will make anyone's ass sore. The 90 minute ride to San Jose is already does that for me. Amtrak California by comparison has much better seating and cafe car service on all their routes. No one's gonna bother riding to Salinas if there isn't better seating and cafe service or at the very least wifi onboard.
