Got a flat this weekend on tires and tubes that I've had for at least 1800mi. Bought new tires, and already had some conti tubes, so will get front and rear replaced soon. How often should I really be changing my tires, I realized close to 1500 that I was probably due for some new ones, but never actually checked off there was some recommendation for how many miles to put on them.
Hopefully my tire change will be nice - I've been using relatively knobby hybrid tires on this bike for a while, and I'm going with some smoother bontrangers. Not pure road tires, but better than what I had. I've been looking for road bikes all over, but thinking I'll be riding this until sometime in 2021 when people start selling bikes again.
