Guys, actually i use maxxis detonator 700x23 for road cycling but i'm switching soon to 28c due to shitty asphalt conditions.
Some "quality" options are:
-continental ultra sport 2 (14 usd)
-kenda kwick trax (16 usd)
-Vittoria Zaffiro Rigid Tyre (
https://www.amazon.co.uk/Vittoria-Zaffiro-Rigid-Tyre-400-x/dp/B001IOUAQG , i guess this is the model) (21 usd)
Some "lower quality" 700x28 options are:
-hutchinson nitro 2 (*) (20 usd)
-Duro (the shitters
https://www.plentyofbikes.com/products/duro-road-tires-700x28c-asst-colors ) (12 usd)
-another kenda with (*) quality (9 usd)
-chaoyang speed shark (700x25) (8 usd)
My max invest is 23 usd/tyre.
I'm aware that 28c are heavier than 23c tyre with same compounds. In this case, which option will be the best and with less noticeable feel compared to maxxis detonator? help me to spend money wisely. maxxis detonator 28c is out of stock now in my local market. all options are wired. is there some way to predict how hard to fit/unfit these tyre would be compared to the actual ones?
