>>1528481I think he's referring to the knobs on the lateral parts of the tire. That layout appears to be some kind of pavement/dirt compromise. The main issue is those knobs add not only a square cross section profile, but will probably not corner well on pavement. I've been using these Panaracer Paselas on my chill bike and both pavement and some light dirt/gravel, they're great. You may not need this exact model, but note how the shape of the tire compares to the Hurricane.
