i'm getting a bike that doesn't come with pedals, and my beater shoes are tattered and clunky anyway, so i'm thinking about getting SPD pedals and shoes
w2c minimalist and clean looking (not rugged with thick treads like MTB shoes) street shoes that allow a sporty cleat position? a user review said the shimano CT5 (pic related) have the cleats like 1.3cm back from his preferred position so they feel like shit and the seller commented that they're "city touring" shoes so they're made like that to suit the riding style of casuals and beginners.
