I've been doing road cycling for a little over a year now for both the enjoyment of it as well as getting fit. For this I have a proper road bike.
Sometimes I take my hybrid bike with front suspension out for some more light off-road action - which can be really fun!
So I'm considering getting a proper full-suspension MTB also.
I'm just wondering how good the MTB discipline is for fitness? Since I feel I mostly do it FOR FUN I was considering perhaps getting an electric mountainbike instead to get the fun of manouvering through terrain but less of a hassle then continue on the road for actual training.
Or do I spend the considerable amount of money on a better specced pure bike?
