The aircraft systems modelling is very barebones and the graphics are dated (though I still think they've got style - especially the sky itself), but the atmosphere is second to none, especially the sound design and ATC. There are even fun details like the controller calling you out on buzzing the tower or taxiing off the tarmac or jetwash from larger aircraft being enough to blow you around.
