>>1597260>>1597390Get rid of car though-traffic completely. I really don't know why some german cities are so hesitant about it, when there are plenty of cities around (Utrecht, Erfurt, Mainz etc) that are much more liveable because their old towns aren't littered up with cars.
That being said, this design is much closer to the 30-40-30-ratio than the other designs, because i think that in a city center pedestrian traffic is always the most important mode of transport. Bikes and busses come second, and I think its fair that they slow down a bit too. Signage doesn't matter too much, i think a 30 km/h one-way street with oncoming bike traffic would be ok too.
