I ordered an e-bike/MTB for around 600 bucks (plus 100 in VAT and 30 bucks shipping costs) earlier thinking i could upgrade it to a moped later after the chink manufacturer's false assurances, but apparently that model doesn't support the conversion according to local regulations after all
The seller is also totally unwilling to give me a discount for the thing now which would've compensated for it at least... I can cancel the order and the asshole would still be billing me 30 bucks in shipping or i could tell them to proceed and deliver it to me
Somewhere around 600 bucks is still a pretty good price for an electric mountain bike though, no? On the other hand, i could save up for a radpower bike instead which would cost me around 300 or so more and get an e-scooter or something to tide me over until then
(I still would've wasted 30 bucks for nothing, but with the other one i could be assured that i still can convert and insure the bike as a moped if i want to later on, and product support would be better than with the chink bike for sure)
