I've been looking to get a downhill bike for a while now and I've narrowed my choices down to three bikes. I need some help deciding which bike I should get and how much I should offer for it (I live in SoCal so the prices are probably a little inflated). Any help would be greatly appreciated.
The first bike is a 2004-05 Turner DHR for 800$ (I would probably offer him around 700$). the frame is a little older but it appears to be in very good condition. Cosmetically it looks a little beat up but the seller says that there are no functional issues with the bike. Even though I don't like the looks of this bike as much as the DHR and it has slightly worse components I'm kinda leaning towards it since it's only a couple of years old.
