Line 2 and 3's spurs at the end don't really seem to go anywhere that different and go to about one estate each that the main line doesn't go to. Line 4 should definitely go to that tourist town in the southwest. I can't find a map but hopefully there's a half decent plan for the linkup with line 1 via the city centre, and isn't American right of way tier, but I can't find anything. You seem to be infected by the same disease that plagues the Barcalona and Madrid trams with them not going into the city centre either. I don't trust Italians to do a proper job with the linkup.
I was looking at maps and apparently there's a track from the ferry terminal that goes underground between the historical and new centres, and joins back up with the line a bit north of Lolli, is that being upgraded to passenger services or is it some sort of freight only tunnel for the port, which is why there's no services there yet? I found some planned map which has this and a planned line to the northern beach resort via the centre and the university in the south. Again, I don't trust Italians to do a proper job or even build this either. The tram link isn't there either.
