I'm a 26 yo masters student who is living in Germany right now. Since the roads here are much more suitable I'd love to bike much more frequently (as opposed to twice a year)

>Budget I don't really have one. I don't even know how much a bike should worth. My interest never gone beyond entry level. So If you could suggest 2-3 bikes in different price points it would be really helpful. Nothing too expensive though, I don't want to be upset if it gets stolen.
I am also willing to buy 2nd hand since they probably worth more bang for the buck. But I don't really know what kind of bike that I should be looking for. Also don't have any experience to evaluate what I'm looking to. If you have any tips or source regarding that, it would also be extremely helpful.
