>>1381316>>1381324i doubt there's a bike with gears for me below 1000 euros. i'm a former /fit/fag and i absolutely want an aggressive track/tt/tri geometry for power and i also want aero. pic related is only 579 euros including everything like the freewheel, brakes, pedals, shipping. it has a track geometry, aero frame, semi-aero wheels, full carbon fork. it's not fitted with a dura-ace crankset or carbon wheels like some hardcore track bikes but i don't need that. it looks like better value than USA-imported entry-level track bikes. if my situation changes in the future i could just ride a shitheap 3 speed or get an n+1 endurance road bike. there's not really any cycling culture where i live so i'd have to pay high prices and high shipping fees for everything like if i would need a rear derailleur hanger or a new cassette or something like that. and yeah on the track bike i'll still need a new chain, freewheel sprocket, new tires after enough miles but some maintenance like that is unavoidable.
