>>1684790>Drop bars on the other hand are a fucking meme for city ridingNah they're the best for filtering traffic because they're quite narrow and having your hands on the outside gives you good spatial perception for judging gaps.
The issue people have with drop bars is just having them too low/forward. When I spec this bike back up for touring it's going to be with a +17° stem and full stack which should put the bars at saddle height and give a reasonably upright position, good for relaxed riding.
