>>1757378Go on then, show us a pic of your electric truck, or some figures to back your argument up. Pic rel is a bus I built, it was using 70L/100km as a diesel and now gets 1km/kwh as an EV. Diesel is currently $1.50/ litre wholesale so every 100km it travelled before it used $105 worth of diesel. So $1.05 per kilometer driven. Wholesale off peak power is, at the moment, about 10 cents per kwh. So at 1kwh per km its costing about 10 cents a km to run. I've ignored the milage tax that a diesel pays and an EV doesn't, just to make the maths easier.
Its a huge saving.
