>>1403434don't worry about it. the bike industry is just catering to ultra casuals who want to ride a couch. a lot of people on /n/ seem to think 28mm is the minimum and they would prefer 32, 35, or even 40+ mm which is plain silly for pure road use. i've been tortured for the last few months (finally getting a proper bike) on a loaner low geared 26 inch ladies town BSO with 50mm tires. the watts lost are significant, especially when plebs run the minimum tire pressure they can get away with without getting pinch flats.
